Welcome and thank you for considering Overture Academy as your school of choice! Overture Academy, while instructing students on typical Liberal Arts education, boasts the finest musical training in the world for youth. Overture Academy's bold and brilliant history is marked most especially by its yearly youth solo competition (ages 16-21 only), where students audition and perform classical and modern literature in front of our staff. Our staff, of course, is made up of current and retired world-renowned musicians, and are recommended as much for the exceptional teaching abilities as well as their incredible musical talents. Students who do succeed in winning the solo competition are automatically given a professional position in one of the top ensembles in the world, as well as holding the enviable title of "Musical Youth of the Year" in the Music Now magazine.

Auditions are open in the fall, and the spots of students are very limited. Register early! We hope to see you as the next Overture Academy student, and maybe as the next "Musical Youth of the Year"!

Sorry about that, reception's pretty bad here...anyway. I need to tell you something important - whatever you heard from the school, it's all a lie. Yes, there's a competition here, and yes, they will teach you whatever you need to know about music, but that's on the surface, to lure you in. What they're really up to, what's really going on here, is a lot different. A lot worse. Dangerous, even.

Beyond the edge of the town is a world of horror, of terrors you can't even dream of. It's made up of the angry thoughts of the people here, and believe me! there's a lot of angry people here. This horror takes the form of evil shadows that lurk nearby. And if left alone, they will kill people.

That's where you come in, recruit. We need people who can harness the power of music here to destroy this darkness. Only the best have a chance of defeating the darkness. But it's a dark road, this one. You come here and you'll have to fight for your life.

I don't have much more time, but I needed to let you know of the dangers that are here. I hope you come and join the fight, but if you don't, I understand. Stay home and stay safe. Or join us and save some lives. It's up to you.
